I'm not sure I grasp the dates here. Her husband was already Duke of Orléans when they married. After his older brother's death in 1536, he became Dauphin, and his younger brother Charles became Duke of Orléans. I'm not sure about the formal title here, because often royal princes were just called by ducal titles they didn't, strictly speaking, possess, but certainly she would have become duchess of Orleans at the time of her marriage. john k (talk) 18:26, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
